As we say farewell to 2017 and usher in the New Year, RESET Air too has cause for celebration.

Since its inception, RESET Air has benefitted from our esteemed RESET Fellows, Accredited Professionals (AP) and expert community who have worked diligently on the very first RESET Air projects around the world. With each project, the the RESET Air Standard has benefited from collective knowledge and a unified effort to uphold RESET's core intentions:

  • To regenerate our ecological, social and economic environments via human health
  • To make occupant health a measurable deliverable for all buildings and spaces.

As a result, and after several years of hard work, we are thrilled to release the RESET Air Standard v2.0 as of January 2018.

What does this mean for project teams?

For project teams that have submitted documentation and have been approved under the current Pre-Release RESET Air Standard version, they are "grandfathered" in and may continue on their path towards certification.

Projects wishing to transfer their current project from the Pre-Release RESET Air Standard to the new 2.0 version are welcome to do so. Project teams are required to adhere to the new RESET Air 2.0 Certification Process and submit their project information and Pre-Deployment Plan for approval and confirmation prior to proceeding under the new RESET Air v2.0 version.

For all new projects, as of January 2018, they must follow the RESET Air Standard 2.0 and submit the documentation accordingly.

APs will be notified of an online webinar that will bring you up-to-date on the new Standard and allow you to take your AP exam to renew your RESET Air accreditation. For our trusted RESET APs, this service is provided at no charge.

On behalf of GIGA and the entire RESET team, we offer our deepest thanks and appreciation for contributing to the RESET Air Standard. Your input, support and enthusiasm has been and continues to be invaluable.
